James Hong memoir: Over 700 roles and 70 years in Hollywood (and still counting).

For anyone who may have missed it, Actor James Hong (with Jeff Yang) has published his memoir, You’ve Seen Me Before: Over 700 roles and 70 Years in Hollywood (And Counting) for release September 22, 2026. Mr. Hong of course is famous in the world of Charlie Chan for playing Son Number 1, Barry, to J. Carroll Naish’s Detective Charlie Chan on the television series The New Adventures of Charlie Chan. May 10, 2022, Mr. Hong received his Star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. He is now 97 years young, and back in February 2021 we celebrated his 92nd Birthday. I haven’t seen it yet (since it’s not out for another five days,) but I imagine his time spent filming the 39 episodes of The New Adventures of Charlie Chan (1957 – 1958) holds a noteworthy place inside the book!
