In September 2017, the United for Libraries (Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations) dedicated a Literary Landmark honoring author and playwright Earl Derr Biggers (1884-1933), creator of the Charlie Chan detective novels. The plaque resides in his hometown at the Warren-Trumbull Country public library, Warren, Ohio. See and read more here:
